The restroom in the foodcourt was clean, with no touch toilets, faucets and hand dryers. There was one terrible flaw I can’t tolerate though, doors that open "in" that require you to grip the handle to exit the restroom. If this wasn’t bad enough, there are 2 sets of doors requiring you to enter a restroom "airlock"

State of the art and perfect... Where do you want to urinate today?

The restrooms are perfect in everyway. Almost everything is automatic, the lighting (comes on when you walk in), the sinks, the flushing. The restroom is well stocked with soap and towels, and is suprisingly clean for a faclitity where I’ve never seen a janitor or maintenence person.

Intersection of I-71 and State Route 83 in Burbank Ohio 44214. Very clean restrooms any time I go in there. Must be very good management and the employees really like where they work.

This site was a slight step up from the other BPs I’ve encountered on a few minor points: One, you didn’t need to ask for a key to the restroom. Two, this site had a built in heater (There was a quarter inch gap all the way around the door. Had the heater not been present, I’m pretty sure my bits-and-pieces would have been sucked too far into my pelvis to function properly). Three, there was a mirror over the sink (it’s important to be able to check your teeth for chunks of beef jerky when you’re road-tripping).

Thankfully, this site is so far off the beaten path that, unless you’re specifically looking for a BP, you’ll probably find the bathroom in the Big-K before you find this.

Pretty nice facility. The men’s and women’s restrooms each had two full sets of restrooming goodness. Each room had seven urinals (four-Up, three-down), four stalls, and a plentiful smattering of sinks, each one with a trash-hole beside it (which I personally like a lot). It looked pretty new and seemed pretty clean. The diaper-changing station was nice and sturdy (though it didn’t provide liners or towels). There were no offensive odors, and the air wasn’t at all stale. The toilet paper was truck-stop quality, so nothing particularly pampering there. Overall, a well put together rest-stop restroom, not necessarily luxurious, but there’s a Starbucks nearby so it’s pleasing enough.

Pretty inviting, friendly, warm… actually a decent truck-stop restroom. Nothing is more impressive than a dazzling array of stainless steel potty stalls, except for stainless steel potty stalls set against roller-disco glossy red block tile!

Psychologically, I know that McDonalds decorates in red and yellow because colors like that presumably make people hungry. Why you’d try to make people hungry while they’re on the crapper though is beyond me. Though if the color scheme doesn’t make you hungry, the overpowering vanilla-berry air-freshener should at least make you crave a piece of hard-candy or something.

You had the option of towels or blowers, and the soap was pleasant enough. Amenity-wise, the hand-towels were your basic brown roll-towels, and the toilet paper certainly wasn’t designed for comfort (I’m not exactly sure what it was designed for. It didn’t seem to be designed for wiping bottoms either). Though the one and half inch thick stainless-steel potty-stalls made me feel safe and secure (with functioning door latches!), the narrow stalls and obtrusive toilet paper holders (Fort-James I should point out) left me with little room to maneuver.
