Wow, I felt comfortable in this restroom. First of all, the museum is awesome, and that feeling just extended right into my stall with me. As I sat there the quiet hum of people in the main hangar of the museum isolated me, a humble little squatter amid a sea of planes, spacecraft and air-travel lore. I was squatting a mere 200′ from the last active SR-71A Blackbird!

I’m sure that the fact that the whole museum is brand new helped, but the fixtures were all great, the colors were comforting and unobtrusive, the temperature was great, everything was well stocked (including the lid protectors), and the doors had coat-hangers on the back of them. The flushers and faucets were automatic, and the soap was well placed. One really nice thing about this location was that there were baby-changing ROOMS, seperate from the actual bathrooms.

Sorry ladies.. not so great. For emergency use only

You would think you could find a better place to sit your rear at a high-end department store. Not so at the Macy’s in Tyson’s Galleria. It is run-down with leaking faucets and usually there is paper everywhere. It does not smell very fresh either. They need to renovate this restroom and fast. Tinkler’s beware. If you have to go and can’t hold it, Macy’s wil have to do. Otherwise, make your way down the mall to Saks!

Honestly, it’s such a downgrade from the really swank NYC Macy’s restrooms.

Hot water was TOO hot!!!!

The hot water setting in the bathroom was so hot that it was scorching the children and adults that went to wash their hands in the ladies restroom. I talked to a manager and he said there was nothing he could do. Someone needs to do something before a child or an adult gets hurt.
