Minneapolis Public Library - East Lake
Minneapolis, MN
Reviewed April 3rd, 2004
Following the curve of the front rotunda with entrances by the main side door, the symmetricly positioned mens and womens facilities in this 1976 library (li-BARY to some) are in an ideal location.A NO SMOKING sign on the front door excuses itself from retribution by suffixing the command with a line declaring it a CITY ORDINANCE. As a government building though, accessibility is obviously a high priority and it shows with the accessible sink and the sturdy grip bars in the stall.
Inside, things were a bit bland and there were a few paper towels lying on the floor. I was surprised and disheartened to find I would have to use worn-down peach colored bar soap to wash my hands.
