It's understandable that having charming painted murals and exposed brick may not be the most rational choice for outfitting a restroom. But how do you make the leap from the romantic old-world Mexico decor seen throughout this restaurant chain to 21st century hygiene and convenience? A visit to their restroom may give you some good ideas.

The men's room was generously outfitted with two urinals (one short, one tall) and two stalls (one regular, one handicapped). The urinals featured framed and mounted front pages of the newspaper. An additional section lay draped over the bar in the handicapped stall (though most likely unsanctioned). All of the doors were very solid and private - yes even the securely locked janitors closet. A plastic plant adorned the wall and a curtain hid sundry plungers, wastebaskets and what-have-you under the sinks. All fixtures were fit and functioning and overall estaba muy limpio.
