Mt. Simon Park

It's a restroom in a public park. Don't judge.

Actually, it's my job to judge (part-time unpaid) so I will. Thankfully this restroom excels above its peers, the derelict and forsaken sewage-collectors which scar the landscape at city-owned green-spaces throughout the world. Don't get me wrong though. It's no Waldorf Astoria. I'm just saying it's better than most park facilities. Most of that can probably be attributed to the constantly running overhead fan - thanklessly dispersing disgusting (and dangerous) methane gas and other rank smells.

The black-seated toilet (What's up with that? They're not fooling us.) stalls seemed wide enough for easy access and featured a single stainless steel bar for accessibility. All apparatus' functioned properly except for one thing. There was no hot water. No covering that up. There's not even a sink handle for it. My hands were left frigidly trembling. I didn't even bother with the bar of soap resting on the sink. Who would? Still though, it sure beats an outhouse.
