This one may catch you off guard. Maybe you had one too many Summits, but you think you just saw a WOMAN on the other side of that mirror. Look again. Sure enough. There are several women washing their hands and touching up their makeup. There is no wall, merely mirrors suspended on chrome poles. Fortunately the area where you actually do your duty rests further inward past the cleverly decorated doors. Double check before you drop your drawers though. Yup, that's a wall.Uptown's most unnecessarily pretentious restaurant, known for it's diverse palette of international cuisine and constantly bustling atmosphere of rich smells and warm colors, has a restroom that is decidedly more clinical than the rest of the joint. While the shared mirror situation and the muscle car stencil on the men's door are nice gimmicks, they fail to lend any warmth to the sterile white tiles and chrome fixtures throughout. Though despite the hustle and bustle at the bar, the restroom was in quite great shape.
