Krolls West - known best for it's location adjacent to Lambeau Field - has become a bit of a Green Bay landmark. This burger and beer joint is outfitted with sundry Packer-related banners, photos, gear and more. Just to the left of the restroom entrance sits some classy robot sculptures made out of old beer cans and metal scraps. Though oddly enough, the restrooms themselves are comparably plain. Sure the are clean and nice and clad in fastidious tile. But where's the campiness? Where's the green and gold? Where's Vince Lombardi's head hovering over you as you pee? Where's the cutout of Reggie White holding a paper towel dispenser? How about a mural of the frozen tundra? There's no escaping this sort of "decoration" in the rest of this crazy town. Perhaps the creators of this restroom intended this as an escape from the madness. One last chance to clear your thoughts and NOT see the world through green and gold tinted lenses. A glimpse of an alternate reality were everything DOESN'T revolve around the greatest football team in the whole wide world of sports.
