Amtrak Superliner
Passenger Train, Amtrak
Reviewed December 18th, 2004
Located on the first floor of the double decker Amtrak Superliner trains are two miniscule restooms and an additional roomy (relatively speaking) handicapped accessible restroom. While I would not want to try to maneuver a wheelchair in it, this option is definitely the better option for those patrons who desire more than 1 square foot of space in which to do their duty. Of course, all the restrooms featured vacu-suck jet-engine flush toilets, tiny underpowered sinks and stainless fixtures. Worth noting also was the gigantic garbage cans which took up the bulk of the space. A nearby sign apologized for the fact that the garbage cans cannot be emptied at every stop.RESTROOM RATING: 5
