Located just footsteps from First Avenue and The Target Center, Irish bar O'Donovan's is at ground zero for entertainment in Minneapolis. Because of this, the garish video screen advertisements covering their walls don't seem quite so out of place. The cozy friendly decor of bookshelves, fireplaces and non-gawdy Irish paraphenalia is broken a bit when you make you way down the long hall to the back where the restrooms are. Inside, they are pretty standard American restroom fare with a touch of Akihabara thrown in with the flashy video screens.. one of which had a cracked face, no doubt the result of a restroom patron who had become fed up with the invasion of advertising into perhaps one of his few remaining peaceful moments.
