Diamond's Coffee Shoppe
Minneapolis, MN
Reviewed February 9th, 2005
An interesting amalgamation of materials and accesories in this coffee shop restroom lends an almost no-frills industrial feel - but not in the hip "diamond plate and corrugated metal" sort of way... more in that aging disheveled janitor's closet sort of way. Attribute that to the roll-a-towel hand dryer, the large yellow mop bucket which seems to rest permanently in the stall, or the giant jug of Sysco Quarry Tile Cleaner sitting on the counter (despite not having any quarry tile to clean). A strange metal mounting device hung on the wall, perhaps a remnant of a past soap dispenser. The new one is mounted on the mirror. It should be noted that although this is a large restroom, it is essentially meant for one at a time. Be sure to lock the door upon entering as there are no stall doors. Seeing as how this is a shared mens and womens restroom, you never know who could bust in on you.
