Restaurant restrooms are contantly getting facelifts, a positive impact of their relatively short lifespan. This Embers turned Ethiopian diner turned Irish bar and restaurant has likely seen many different restrooms. As each new owner seeks to make their mark, fixtures are updated and upgraded making for a progressively more enjoyable experience to the visitor.

This restroom however still bears some resemblance to its predecessor - sporting colors which are slightly more African than Irish (as is also the facade of the building). Why rip up perfectly good tile though if everything is in tip-top shape? I'm not suggesting the owners go to this length. A few small accessories may be all thats necessary to transport this loo from the Gulf of Aden to the Celtic Sea.

The most notable feature of this restroom was the tremendous space heater perched under the sink. This would scare the bejesus out of me if not for the GFI outlet it was plugged into. With the balmy temperature this device was creating, I wonder if one about 1/3 the size would be adequate.

Grafitti on the wall poeticly reads...
"Smile More
At Me
Or I
Or You
Don't Write On Wall."
