The bright playful cheeriness of this neighbhorhood cafe ends at the restroom door. The restaurant itself is festooned with a beautiful mural with rainbows and woodland creatures and the large front windows allow the morning sunlight to flood the space with it's warmth. But the door toward the back of the restaurant is actually a gateway to the dismal downstairs cave of a restroom. So it's a little reminiscent of a cave. How about continue the mural to the restroom? Woodland creatures? How about a bear? Bears love caves. Might as well throw in another rainbow too.. just for good measure. Hell, I may even be able to ignore the ugly chipped tile and scarred toilet base if I was able to gaze at beautiful silhouettes of pine trees and songbirds.
