Village Pizzeria

Dresser, WI

Reviewed February 20th, 2005

The food here is good. Never the less, one should always be a little leery of any food service establishment whose name ends in "ria". Although spelled differently than the more infamous "rhea" it still sounds the same. A few textured tiles featuring a vase with flowers blend well with the coco brown tiles that predominate. A yellow handled plunger behind the toilet, and a transparent plastic domed toilet paper dispenser seem to say "doctor's office" more loudly than "peasant eatery in the old country." A pile of brown, crumpled paper towels protrudes from the wastebasket like still-active, angry paper towel volcano that can only be appeased through complex ritual sacrifices, painful tribal scarification and the removal of the garbage bag.
