Safeway

Rapid City, SD

Reviewed June 10th, 2005

At first I thought this place was the Salvation Army or United Way or the local poor house but in reality this is a common grocery store chain that ranges from the edge of the Midwest to the Southwest. Notable here are the wads of toilet paper on the dirty floor and the cumbersome, un-needed yellow Slippery Floor Cone that made the small, single entry bathrooms here feel like they were maintenance closets. Of note is the baby changing station. It says Diaper Depot on the side and depicts two babies with beer guts frolicking. Really, Diaper Depot or not they shouldn't encourage babies to become chubby or have a beer gut. The second a baby sees that they will want to run out and do it... as soon as they are able to run.
