The newer restrooms at the campgrounds in Sakatah State Park really elevate the status of campground restrooms. Gone are the days of the aphotic concrete bunker outfitted with pit toilets and prison-esque showers with little or no warm water. The large friendly building is located just a short walk from all the campsites and has great private warm showers and tasteful decor. The high ceilings are clad in a knotty stained wood and punctuated by an occasional skylight to bring additional light in.
