Everywhere you look, socialogical cliches work to instill patterns of behavior in our everyday life. Women must be pretty. Men must be strong. Girls must play with birds and boys must play with hoops and sticks. The latter according to the pictograph posted outside these restrooms labeling the sex of each. In one, a young boy with nice slacks holds one of the most ridiculous toys ever evented. No. Not a Furby. A hoop and a stick. The premise being that you hit the hoop with a stick and then you chase it - resulting in hours of fun and lost calories. The other sign (for those who pee sitting down) is labeled by a silhouette of a girl with a bird... because girls like birds? I'm not so sure I can figure this one out. Let's go inside. Both were generously stocked in restroom swag from Ameripride - and not afraid to announce it. It is quite clear that this is a important account for the company. In fact, on two separate occasions, I actually saw the uniformed Ameripride man on site topping off the soap and hand-towels - and they are always quite full and well-maintained.
