Uffizi Gallery

Florence, Italy

Reviewed January 8th, 2006

Beautiful front-lit, frosted glass doors greet you as you enter and contemplate your upcoming endeavor. The facilities were spotlessly clean. The toilets were equipped with automatic flushers, although they fired a bit prematurely. The wash sinks were a beauty to behold. The long, canoe-shaped sinks had automatic faucets (with very warm water!). The soap dispensers were also automatic with wonderfully fragrant soap. The mood lighting in the restroom put one at ease. Paper towels, while pedestrian in appearance, were nonetheless plentiful. Best of all, departing from European tradition, use of the Uffizi restrooms was completely free of charge (with paid admission ticket of course!). All in all, one of not- to- be missed attractions of Florence.
